. . . I'm Katie. Katie's Sketchbook is my little corner of the web to share some of the things I'm drawing, painting, making, growing, sewing, and thinking. My kids have their own "art wall" in our house so I consider this mine - a virtual refrigerator to pin up my latest projects. As a kid I loved to draw and paint and I kept at it and studied it some until college, when I let it fall to the side as I pursued other things. I stayed creative in other ways (in fact I often felt frustrated at real "jobs" when my hands weren't busy making something). Recently art has found it's way back into my life and I couldn't be happier to have it back. I live in Minnesota with my 3 kids and husband. Thanks for stopping by to visit my art wall!
